Ok now i would like to tell a little bout SMAP, this week num 1 on charts.

SMAP is more like a "Backstreet Boys" Japanese version. SMAP is a very popular Japanese "idol" group, formed by Johnny & Associates. Originally, there were six members in the group, current members are Masahiro Nakai, Takuya Kimura, Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, Goro Inagaki and Shingo Katori. (Names are given here in personal name-family name order.) The members of SMAP have dominated the Japanese pop cultural landscape from their musical debut in 1991 until the present time (as of 2006), showing incredible longevity for a manufactured group. They produce not just numerous hit singles, but also star in numerous television variety shows, dramas, commercials, and movies. They are almost unrivaled in their immense popularity among younger, and especially female, Japanese.

Well personally i don't really know well bout this boysband, but one of their single, "Sekai ni Hitotsu Dake no Hana" mayve not too bad for me ^^

Also known as "The World God Only Knows (神のみぞ知るセカイ)". I've read this manga since last November. Although first this manga isn't really popular, but now it's well known amongst the otaku. This manga tells about a boy named Katsuragi Keima. Katsuragi Keima is known on the net at the Capturing God, while in real life he is an otamegane who hates all real girls. However he is approached by Elsee, a devil from hell, to help her in catching runaway spirits that hide in people. Apparently the spirits only hide in the hearts of girls and the only way to get the souls out is by making the girl fall in love so the spirit gets forced out. Keima must capture all the spirits in the world so that his contract with hell ends.
Till now there have been 60 chapters authored by Wakaki Tamiki. I suggest this manga when you fell bored or if you need a new read that interesting but doesn't need much thinking over when read it.

Ayu sets single record

Ayumi Hamasaki's 46th single, "Sunrise / Sunset ~LOVE is ALL~," was released last week. With over 75,000 copies sold, it ranked #1 on the sales charts, becoming her 21st consecutive (33rd total) number-one single. Overall, it is also her 44th single to enter the Top 10, putting her ahead of Southern All Stars, SMAP, ZARD, and B'z for the current record.

At #2 was Morning Musume with their latest song, "Nanchatte Renai," selling 55,000 copies. The rest of the top ten included GACKT (#4), supercell (#5), Toshihiko Takamizawa (#6), a new "K-On!" character single (#9), and Motohiro Hata (#10).

On the albums chart, Kobukuro remained at #1 for the second week in a row, but Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi ranked highest out of the new releases with 72,000 copies of "FRIENDS" at #2. Crazy Ken Band (#4) and Kaori Mochida (#9) also made the top ten.

HOME MADE KAZOKU (Home Made 家族, translated in English as Home Made Family) is a Japanese hip hop trio signed to Ki/oon Records, a subsidiary of Sony Records.
Home Made Kazoku is a three member band consisting of members Micro, Kuro and founding member, DJ U-Ichi. The band was originally created in 1996 under a different name and went through many members before finally settling on being a trio with the name Home Made Kazoku in 2001. From 2001 to 2003, the band performed independently in various Nagoya nightclubs. In early 2004, the band was chosen to be part of a country-wide tour known as the Japan Club Tour. During the tour, the trio gained many fans from their club performances as well as finally being signed to a major label, Ki/oon Records.
Shortly after being signed, the group released a mini-album containing the song "Home Sweet Home (Reborn)". The song became wildly popular and went on to become one of the most requested songs of Japanese radio stations for the year. In July of the same year, their first single, Summer Time Magic, was released and sat at a comfortable 15th on the Oricon charts for nearly 10 weeks. After a series of singles, including Thank You!!, which was used as the second ending theme to the popular anime Bleach and Shōnen Heart, which was used as an opening theme to the anime Eureka Seven, the band's first full length album was released. "Rock the World" entered the Oricon charts and peaked at 5th in its first week. It would stay in the top 20 for the next two months and end up selling 191,744 copies as well as becoming the 78th best selling album of 2005, a sign of the band's new found popularity.
After their first album, the group went on a series of tours and released a string of singles as well as their second and third albums, "Musication" and "Familia". Of special note, tickets to their second tour were sold out within the span of one hour, a record in Japanese music. In January 2007, it was announced that they would perform the first ending theme to the anime Naruto: Shippūden entitled Nagareboshi (Shooting Star) which entered the Oricon charts at 10th place. One of the group, Micro, was featured on the abingdon boys school song "Lost Reason" as it appeared on their self-titled album. Home Made Kazoku has performed for a promotional commercial for a product called "Walky Walky" with their song "Easy Walk". It was also announced that their new single NO RAIN NO RAINBOW will be used as the movie theme for the second Naruto Shippūden Movie which will be out on the 2nd of August 2008.

NICO Touches the Walls (ニコタッチズザウォールズ, NICO Touches the Walls) is a Japanese J-Rock band formed in 2004. In the same year, they won a prize at the Yamaha Teen Music Festival. They signed to Ki/oon Records in 2007 which is the same label that signed the popular band Asian Kung-Fu Generation. Their major debut single is Yoru no Hate (夜の果て) released in February 2008. Recently, their song "Broken Youth" was featured as the 6th ending theme song for the popular anime Naruto Shippuuden. In August 2008 they will be performing in the Rock in Japan Festival along side many other popular upcoming bands.

KAT-TUN not only sings and dances, but the members also act and star in commercials. They are one of the most popular talent idol groups in Japan at the moment, and have released a debut CD, setting records in album sales.

Well i give them 4 out of 5 for a boys band. Keep up the good work KAT-TUN!

SID (シド, shido?) is a Japanese rock band under Sony's Danger Crue Records. They have a large fan base and are rapidly gaining popularity.SID is a visual indie band that formed in 2003. They have a jazzy sound that is usually absent in Visual Kei. Despite their youth in the world of Japanese rock, SID have had a lot of exposure. They continuously play live in Japan and in 2004 SID did a short tour of American anime conventions. The tour helped to launch their fan base in the states. In addition to touring, SID has been interviewed for several J-Rock magazines such as Shoxx and Fool's Mate.

SID was formed in 2003 by Mao and Aki. The band was soon joined by Shinji and Yuya. They began as a visual kei band but Mao wanted to leave that scene as soon as possible so the band could develop their own style. In 2004, they gave some live performances. Indeed, in May 2004, the SID are selected to go to Anime Central, a popular anime convention in the United States, because of Miyavi's cancellation. They thereafter signed under the label of Sony, Danger Raw Records, producers various of Jrock and Visual bands. They released their first album in 2004, [Renai], a limited edition of 10 000 copies only. In April, the SID give two concerts of which all the places will be sold! One 3rd album is announced for November followed by a winter round. 2006 will thus be seen being the year of the concretization for the group, which completed its reconversion of the Visual style for their own style and their particular musical universe. It also should be specified that these boys compose and write absolutely all their songs (the words are written by Mao and the majority of the compositions are carried out by Aki).

Their song "Monochrome no Kiss" became the 1st opening of Kuroshitsuji and "Uso" became the 1st ending for Full Metal Alchemist : Brotherhood

Japan’s two pioneering manga weeklies, Shonen (boys) Magazine and Shonen Sunday, mark their 50th anniversaries Tuesday amid concerns about their future profitability. The weeklies, only featuring manga stories, along with similar manga magazines for girls, have helped comics in Japan develop into a distinctive style of art worthy of an adult audience.
The Magazine and the Sunday were first published respectively by Kodansha Ltd and Shogakukan Inc on the same day—March 17, 1959. But the characters of the two magazines are totally different.
The Magazine preferred serious stories focusing on human nature and the success of amateur athletes with realistic and graphic pictures while the Sunday featured relatively light tales such as love stories involving students or urban life.

But recently, there have been signs of a decrease of readers as the forms of entertainment have diversified.
According to data made available by entities such as the Japan Magazine Publishers Association, sales of the Magazine have fallen to 1.8 million copies from a peak of 4.5 million copies in 1998.
The Sunday has also suffered a decline in sales to 870,000 copies from 2.3 million in 1983 and even sales of the most popular manga weekly for boys, Shonen Jump, have more than halved to 2.8 million copies against 6.5 million in 1994.

But well congrats for Shonen Weekly Magazine, keep up the good work!

Akihabara (秋葉原) ("Field of Autumn Leaves"), also known as Akihabara Electric Town (秋葉原電気街 Akihabara Denki Ga), is an area of Tokyo, Japan. It is located less than five minutes by rail from Tokyo Station. Its name is frequently shortened to Akiba (アキバ) in Japan. While there is an official locality named Akihabara nearby, part of Taito-Ku, the area known to most people as Akihabara (including the railway station of the same name) is actually Soto-Kanda, a part of Chiyoda-ku.

Akihabara is a major shopping area for electronic, computer, anime and otaku goods, including new and used items. New items are mostly to be found on the main street, Chūōdōri, with many kinds of used items found in the back streets of Soto Kanda 3-chome. First-hand parts for PC-building are readily available from a variety of stores. Tools, electrical parts, wires, microsized cameras and similar items are found in the cramped passageways of Soto Kanda 1-chōme (near the station). Foreign tourists tend to visit the big name shops like Laox or other speciality shops near the station, though there is more variety and lower prices at locales a little further away. Akihabara gained some fame through being home to one of the first stores devoted to personal robots and robotics.

Nightmare new album

Nightmare announced the release of their sixth original major album for May 13th. Titled majestical parade, the album will be available in three different versions: two of them limited, one including a photobook and a DVD featuring the PV for Can you do it? and the other including a different DVD, this time with the PV for MELODY, and a regular CD-only edition. All versions will also include an ticket to a future event and, in addition, the track MELODY will start selling digitally through dwango from April 29th.

UVERworld

five-member band known as UVERworld first formed in 2003, and were known as Sound Goku Road or, more popularly, "Sangoku Road." The band originally consisted of seven members, and released a demo CD which ended up selling 3,000 copies. Unfortunately, one of the band members, the saxophonist Seika, left the group (the other was Hiko, who left after he married). After his departure, Ace∞trigger renamed himself TAKUYA∞ and the band renamed itself to UVERworld.

According to an interview with the band there was another vocalist who left, however this vocalist hasn't yet been identified. Though it appears that that person may have left some time before Seika did, as Seika is the only one of the two credited on the demo CD and pictured with very early live photos of the band pre-UVERworld.

2005 was the year that the band signed with the label gr8! records, which is under Sony Music Records. The band made their debut with the single "D-tecnoLife", which served as the 2nd opening theme song for the anime BLEACH. After three months UVERworld's second single, "CHANCE!" was used as the theme for the PSP game Bleach: Heat the Soul 2 and was the last single released in 2005.

On January 25, 2006 "just Melody", the band's third single, ended up at #17 on the Oricon charts. Three weeks later UVERworld's 1st album Timeless was released, breaking the top 10 at #5 and selling 60,000 copies. Seika made a brief return during this album, playing saxophone for track 5, Yasashisa no Shizuku. After a three month break, UVERworld released "Colors of the Heart" as the third opening theme for BLOOD+, an anime series based on the animated movie, Blood: The Last Vampire. The single debuted at #3 and was the highest position any of UVERworld's singles had reached up to that time. Their 5th single, entitled SHAMROCK, was released on August 2, 2006, and was used as the ending theme for the J-Drama Dance☆Drill, a show about a group of girls who aspire to become cheerleaders. UVERworld's 6th Single was released on November 15, 2006, entitled "Kimi No Suki na Uta", the song was used as the theme song for the TBS TV show Koi Suru Hanikami! or Honey Coming! from October until December. It was the first ballad UVERworld released as a single, and it reached number two on the Oricon charts (the highest place for an UVERworld single thus far) until it fell off of the charts three and a half weeks later. It sold around 70,000 copies according to the Oricon sales charts.

On February 21, 2007, UVERworld released their second album titled BUGRIGHT. It featured the singles UVERworld had put out after the release of Timeless, and also included their song "～Nagare・Kuukyo・THIS WORD～" (～流れ・空虚・THIS WORD～), which was used for the film soundtrack "The songs for DEATH NOTE the movie 〜the Last name TRIBUTE〜."

The band's newest effort, titled PROGLUTION, was released on January 16, 2008 and contained a full 18 tracks which included their recent singles Ukiyo Crossing (浮世CROSSING), endscape, and Shaka Beach ~Laka Laka La~ (シャカビーチ~Laka Laka La~) . It came in two forms, a CD-only version and a Limited Edition CD+DVD. PROGLUTION sold over 150,000.

June 11, 2008 saw the release of the single Gekidou/Just break the limit! (激動). Gekidou was used as the fourth opening theme of the anime series, D.Gray-man, while the song Just break the limit! was used as a support song for POCARI SWEAT's CM. Two more releases are scheduled for 2008, Koishikute (恋いしくて) and Hakanaku mo Towa no Kanashi (儚クモ永久のカナシ). Hakanaku mo Towa no Kanashi is set to be the opening for the second season of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 anime.

Finally i got to finished my Persona 4 with true ending!True ending!!
Damn it took me 3 days and 3 nights for the normal boss Ameno-sagiri and true ending boss Izanami and Izanami no Okami to fight. But it's worth the wait. True ending is cool!And the song is great! Persona 4 ending is sung by Shihoco Hirata. The title "Never More" you can download the song by clicking here
I hope Shin Megami Tensei : Persona will continued on Playstation 2!

Yeah i love Kingdom Hearts and all it series from Kingdom Hearts 1 till KH : 358/2 days
Actually i just start play it at last January. I know the game is released a long ago. First i heard it from my friend, i didn't think it would be an amazing game >_<>Kingdom Hearts II is a collection of various levels (referred to in-game as "worlds") that the player progresses through. As in the first game, Kingdom Hearts II allows the player to travel to locales from various Disney fictions, along with original worlds specifically created for the series. In the first game, Disney-based worlds were primarily derived from the Disney Animated Pictures canon. Kingdom Hearts II introduces worlds that are based on Disney live action films as well. As in the first game, each world varies in appearance and setting, depending on the Disney film on which it is based. The graphics of the world and characters are meant to resemble the artwork style of the environments and characters from their respective Disney films. Each world is disconnected from the others and exists separately; with few exceptions, players travel from one world to another via a Gummi Ship.
Kingdom Hearts II begins one year after Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. Sora, Donald, and Goofy have been asleep for the past year to regain their lost memories. Meanwhile, Roxas is trapped in a virtual simulation of Twilight Town created by DiZ so that Roxas, the Nobody of Sora, may merge with his original self to restore Sora's power. This is done as part of DiZ's revenge on Organization XIII. DiZ's plans are threatened when Organization XIII's Nobodies infiltrate the virtual town, but Roxas finally merges with Sora. Sora, Donald, and Goofy wake up in the real Twilight Town and meet King Mickey and Yen Sid, who send them on another journey. Their goal is to find Riku and stop the plans of Organization XIII, who control the Nobodies—the body left over when a heart is turned into a Heartless. Sora also receives a new set of clothes that allow him to fuse with party members to gain special abilities. Afterward, Maleficent is resurrected and joins with Pete to continue her quest for power. And so on.. (you can play the game or read the manga by yourself, but of course the game is the best!)

Now i have finished the game (till xehanort defeated and unending credits goes on) But it still fun to play it again and again. I now have reached level 74 with all form including final form reach level 4. I got all the keys from world that i visit, but i don't have the Ultima weapon nor Fenrir Keyblade. Especially Fenrir is hard to get coz i must fight Sephiroth first, what a FUBAR..

My fave band for January 2009 is FLOW!!

Flow is a five-piece Japanese rock band made up of two vocalists, a drummer, a bassist and a guitarist. The group's base was created in 1993 when brothers Kohshi (elder: vocals) and Take (younger: guitar) began playing together. They formed Flow in 1998, and were eventually joined by Keigo (vocals), Got's (bass) and Iwasaki (drums; joined in 2000). In 2001, the band released its first maxi single, "Flow #0". The group then released two mini-albums within the same year, both of which took nationwide indie charts by storm. "Okuru Kotoba", Flow's first cover single, was released in January 2003. It remained on the Oricon indie chart for seven consecutive weeks and also hit an impressive #6 on the overall singles chart. In the spring of that year, their first full-scale album Splash!!! debuted at #2. In July 2003, Flow released the single "Blaster" on a major label, Ki/oon Records. In April 2004, they released "Go!!!", which stayed on the Oricon Top 10 Chart for three weeks. In May 2004, Flow released their first major album Game.

A string of singles followed and in July 2005 the band released its third album, Golden Coast. Since the release of Golden Coast, Flow has released two singles with new A-sides, but one of these ("Around the World/Kandata") was a double A-side release. "Colors" is the band's fourth single. The songs "Go!!!" and "Re:member" both served as opening themes to the anime series Naruto. "Days" was the first opening Eureka seven anime, and "Realize" was the opening for the Playstation 2 video games based on the same series. Flow performed live in America for the first time in Dallas, Texas on 2nd September 2006 at Anime Fest which was held at the Hyatt Hotel and Convention center in downtown Dallas. Flow performed "Colors" in 2006, the first opening for Sunrise original series Code Geass:Lelouch of the rebellion. Their song "Answer" is the first opening theme for the live action Japanese drama Tantei Gakuen O. They performed "Night Parade" with the hip-hop band Home Made Kazoku. In February 2008, they released a new single entitled "Arigatō", followed by Persona - Trinity soul's new opening, "Word of the voice" in June 2008. They performed Code Geass: Lelouch of the rebellion R2's second opening theme "World End" released in 2008. Their song "Go!!!" was played at the 2008 summer olympic in the baseball game between Japan and Australia. Amazing isn't it?

I love Flow because of their way to play music, is a little noisy (w/o many distortion) and bring me excitement when i listen to their music. The conclucion is... Flow is awesome man!!

My fave song is "Days" for Eureka Seven opening, "Remember" for Naruto opening, "Colors" for Code Geass:Lelouch of the rebellion opening and "Dream Express" from The Best: Single Collection (20th December 2006)

Takeshi Obata (小畑健 Obata Takeshi, born February 11, 1969 in Niigata, Niigata Perfecture) is a Japanese Mangaka. He generally works as the artist in collaboration with a writer. He has also mentored several mangaka, including Kentaro yabuki of Black cat, Nobuhiro Watsuki of Ruroni Kenshin, Tsugumi Ohba of Death Note, and Yusuke Murata of Eyeshield 21.
He originally became noticed in 1985 when he took a prize in the Tezuka Award (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tezuka_Award) for his one shot 500 Kōnen no Kaiwa. Then he join the Weekly Shonen Jump, he mentored under Makoto Niwano (creator of Bomber Girl). After several years of difficulty to finding a hit, Obata began collaborating with other writers on their stories. He finally began the series that established his name when he teamed with Yumi Hotta on Hikaru no Go starting in 1998. He is most well-known as the artist of Hikaru no Go, for which he received the Shogakukan Manga Award (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shogakukan_Manga_Award) in 2000 and the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tezuka_Osamu_Cultural_Prize) in 2003, and Death Note.

I like his drawings not only for the detail, but in his penchant for fashion. The characters he draws often wear stylish clothes and trendy items like the latest fashionable scarf, tie or handbag. Especially his drawings on Death Note manga with Tsugumi Ohba. And i think the best collaboration is when he's making the drawings of Death Note. Coz Death Note is a great success, even it has been serialized in Anime. Then there're novel version of Death Note. The last is the Video Games (for Nintendo DS) and the Live Action Film that has a great hits around the world.

In the fall of 2007, he drew a short story, Hello Baby, with writer Masanori Morita, which appeared in Jump Square. This was followed by a one-shot manga with Nisio Isin. A new series with Tsugumi Ohba, Bakuman (my favorite manga too) began in August, 2008. In addition to his manga work, he has also done character design work for the video game Castlevania Judgement.

As for me, the best drawings and story collaboration is when he make Death Note and Bakuman. The best one-shot stories is Uroboe Uroboros and Hello Baby.

Yep, i'm reading Fairy Tail manga now. Fairy Tail (フェアリーテイル Fearī Teiru) is a manga series by Hiro Mashima. You know him, don't you? he's the creator of Rave manga. It has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine since August 23, 2006 and it's still ongoing till now. The individual chapters are being collected and published in tankobon (see wikipedia.org/wiki/tankobon) volumes. Till October 2008 there are 12 volumes released. The series is licensed for an English language release in North America by Del Rey Manga which began releasing the individual volumes on March 25, 2008.

The series follow the adventures of young sorcerers, Lucy Hearthphilia who travels to the land of Fiore to join the magical Fairy Tail Guild. Along the way, she meets Natsu Dragonil, a young boy who is looking for a dragon named Igneel. Shortly after their meeting, Lucy is abducted by Bora of Prominence, who was posing as Salamander of Fairy Tail, to be sold as a slave. Natsu rescues her and reveals that he is the Salamander and a true member of Fairy Tail Guild. He offers her membership into the guild, which she accepts, and they become a team performing various missions for the Fairy Tail guild. Then the story begin here...

First, i'm reading this manga just for killing time. Then i read this continously. I think the story isn't really complicated though and the drawing is just like Rave, Hiro Mashima style. And there are some joke and comedy in this manga. It's absolutely a Shounen Manga, because it's focused on the battles between character.
For this Manga, i give 7,5 of 10. I think because this manga has mainstream storyline which is a long story. Well, if you interested, you can read it at Shonen Magz in Indonesia or the volumed one. You can buy this manga at your nearest bookstore.

The eclipse reach it's peak at 16:42 (at my place) untill it's a full eclipse that looks like a ring
Unfortunately, it's really cloudy from 16:30 till 16:58 at my place, so i just get to see a little part of the eclipse (damn it!) i can't even get a single picture of the eclipse
